Need more sand? This expedition is for Sahara enthusiasts as we travel the length and breadth of the country's desert interior, returning north via the spectacular Atlantic coast. Skeletons, fossils and pre-Islamic rock art abound in this desolate unspoiled desert, and shipwrecks litter parts of the coastline. We know and avoid mined areas.

Meeting and start point: campsite near Gibraltar.

Expedition mileage and terrain: 4,000km / 2,500mi approx 70-80% off-road.
